  7. Offer, Haydn: Piano Sonatas, Vol. 7 Jean-Efflam Bavouzet (piano) Possessiveness is a Romantic trait, and so is worrying about authorship, and Haydn is paradigmatically Classical, as Bavouzet shows in these immaculate accounts Bavouzet’s Yamaha enables him.
  8. The album features two sonatas from Haydn’s 'middle' period (Nos 30 and 31) written in the late s and still bearing traces of C. P. E. Bach’s influence, and also one of the best known sonatas in E flat major () filled with deep musical revelations and unexpected turns of the composer’s thought.
